- Eligibility

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.
- Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only when:
- Full or required payment is successfully completed.
- A confirmation message/email is sent by The New Legatus.
Until payment is confirmed, the property is not guaranteed to be reserved.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy
Guests may cancel bookings according to the following policy:
- No refund will be provided if the guest cancels 1 day prior to the booking date.
- 25% refund will be provided if the guest cancels 3 days prior to the booking date.
- 50% refund will be provided if the guest cancels 5 days prior to the booking date.
- 75% refund will be provided if the guest cancels more than 5 days before the booking date.
Refunds will be processed through the original payment method within a reasonable processing time.
- Host Responsibilities
Hosts listing properties on The New Legatus must:
- Provide accurate property descriptions
- Ensure the property is clean, safe, and available as listed
- Respect the confirmed booking dates
If a host cancels a confirmed booking after receiving payment more than three (3) times, their account will be permanently suspended or removed from the platform.
- Guest Responsibilities
Guests using the platform must:
- Respect the property and its rules
- Avoid illegal activities inside the property
- Avoid damaging property or disturbing neighbors
- Follow check-in and check-out timings
Guests will be responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.
- Payments
All payments must be made through approved payment methods available on the website.
Prices displayed on the website:
- Are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR)
- May include service charges or applicable taxes
The New Legatus reserves the right to update prices at any time before booking confirmation.
8. Property Damage and Legal Action
Guests are expected to treat all listed properties with care and respect.
If a guest causes damage, theft, vandalism, or misuse of the property, the guest will be:
- Fully responsible for all repair, replacement, or restoration costs
- Required to compensate the host or property owner
In cases of serious property damage, illegal activity, or refusal to compensate, The New Legatus reserves the right to:
- Suspend or permanently ban the guest’s account
- Charge compensation where applicable
- Take legal action under the applicable laws of Pakistan
Legal proceedings may be initiated in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan if required.
- Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from:
- Illegal activities
- Fraudulent bookings
- Misuse of the platform
- Hosting unauthorized events or parties
- Subletting booked properties without permission
Violations may lead to immediate account termination.
- Limitation of Liability
The New Legatus acts as an intermediary booking platform between hosts and guests.
We are not responsible for:
- Property disputes between host and guest
- Loss of personal belongings
- Injuries occurring during the stay
However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist in dispute resolution.
- Privacy
Personal information provided during registration or booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws in Pakistan.
- Changes to Terms
The New Legatus reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Updated terms will be posted on this page and will become effective immediately.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
Guest Identification
For security and legal compliance, guests may be required to provide valid identification at the time of booking or during check-in.
Accepted identification may include:
- Valid CNIC
- Passport

If a booking is affected by such an error, The New Legatus may cancel or modify the booking and notify the user accordingly.
Force Majeure
The New Legatus shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in providing services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include but are not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government regulations or restrictions
- Internet or technical failures
- Public emergencies or unforeseen events
In such situations, bookings may be modified, delayed, or cancelled if necessary.

While the platform attempts to maintain quality and accuracy of listings, hosts remain responsible for the condition, availability, and accuracy of their properties.
Platform Rights
The New Legatus reserves the absolute right to remove, suspend, or permanently delete any host or guest account, property listing, or booking at any time without prior notice or explanation.
The platform may take such action at its sole discretion, and users agree that The New Legatus is not obligated to provide advance warning or justification for such decisions.
By using this platform, all users acknowledge and accept that The New Legatus maintains full authority over the management of accounts, listings, and bookings on the platform.
